Life comes with its ups and downs, with things that bring you joy and things that bring you sorrow. Similarly software applications come with this you like and things you don’t like. This is certainly the case with Sea Wolves, an arcade game published by Alawar Entertainment.

The Sea Wolves game story goes something like this: after a man-caused cataclysm everything got flooded, the whole planet is underwater. Now there are disgusting monsters in the water and ruthless pirates on the water. You have to guide your ship on these dangerous waters, explore unknown territories, vanquish your enemies, collect treasures, and so on.

Now let’s get back to the things you are going to like and things you are not going to like about this game. The first step you must take should you decide to give this game a try is to get it off the web and onto your computer. The download weighs in at 123MB, which is a lot. Even on a high-speed internet connection, you will have to wait a bit for the download to complete. That’s something you may not like.

The next step you must take is to install the game on your Windows-powered computer. You will like that installing the game is a straightforward process; it goes along smoothly and rapidly. You will not like that you cannot select where to install the game, that you are offered to change your default search provider and homepage to Ask.com, and that you are offered to install Game Box (a catalog of all the games Alawar Entertainment has to offer). You will also not like that an Alawar Games shortcut is created on the desktop without your permission and that an Alawar Games folder is placed in the Start menu – again, without your permission.

Once you’re done downloading and installing the Sea Wolves game, you will like that you can play it free of charge for a trial period of 1 hour – that’ something you like. Once the trial period is over you will have to part with your hard earned money to get a license to keep playing the game – not too much money, which is nice.

You will also like that in the game you will get to try out different types of sea weapons and special weapons on more than 25 types of enemies in 3 episodes and 22 different levels.
